The occult and esoteric knowledge appear regularly in the history of ideas alongside more established academic disciplines. Particularly fascinating are the periods of rapid scientific advances and epochs of high mortality, such as the Renaissance or the XIX century which also see a burgeoning of interest in the paranormal among the educated elite.

EMANATION provides a new approach to the phenomena through a concept based on Spiritism and the research of the pioneers such as N. Tesla, Allan Kardec, Attila V. Szalay, K. Raudive, Charles R. Richet, E. Senkowsky, William Crookes... at a metaphysical level. Science and religion. Facts and faith. Black Mass Records signed the band in 2013 for the release of the early recordings in a compilation cassette. This release, entitled 'One Soul, One Body, One Spirit', lit a spark focusing the eye of the media over EMANATION, not only due the innovative concept and aesthetic but due the original and modern approach to the Black Metal riff style and sonority.

In early 2013 EMANATION entered the studio to register 'Under Magnetic Sleep', a one-sided 12'' for Black Mass Records, focused into the unusual perception developed under artificial inducted sleep as a tool to bridge the great divide that separates the living from the departed.
